After teasers, POCO has confirmed the launch of POCO F5, the company’s next top-end F series phone in India on May 9th. This will be the first phone in India to launch with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 which is a major upgrade compared to Snapdragon 870 in the POCO F4.
The teaser reveals the back of the phone, which looks exactly similar to the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which was introduced in China last month.

For the global markets, POCO will also launch the POCO F5 Pro alongside at the same time in a separate online event. According to rumours, this will be the global version of the Redmi K60 which was introduced in China back in December powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
The POCO F5 should get a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, and the F5 Pro should pack a 6.67-inch 2K 120Hz AMOLED screen. Both these are expected to pack a 5000mAh, and 67W fast charging.
