Uber has expanded its Reserve service to six additional cities in India, allowing riders to pre-book their rides between 30 minutes to 90 days in advance. This service provides users with greater flexibility and convenience when it comes to planning their travel.
Earlier this year in March, Uber also introduced Airport-Friendly features in India, making the process of getting to and from the airport easier and more seamless for riders.
Uber Reserve now available for cash payments in 13 cities across India
Uber has expanded its Reserve service to 13 cities across India, offering riders access to reliable, pre-booked rides. With this expansion, riders can now make cash payments for the Reserve service, in addition to the existing payment options.
With the Reserve option, drivers can select offers that are best suited for their time on the road, and accept trips up to seven days in advance, allowing them to lock in their earnings and driving schedule.
Available on various product categories at attractive price points
Uber Reserve is available on various product categories, including Uber Premier, Uber Intercity, Uber Rentals, and Uber XL, and offers planned ride options at attractive price points.
This service is specifically designed to meet pre-planned travel needs, including work trips, airport drops, visits to the doctor, and other scheduled appointments.
To book an Uber Reserve trip, follow these simple steps:
- Open the updated Uber app and tap on the Reserve icon.
- Select your desired pickup and drop-off locations and schedule your ride for up to 90 days in advance or at least 30 minutes before your trip.
- Review the booking details in the app, including the assigned driver as your travel time approaches. You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 1 hour in advance.
- Wait for the driver-partner to arrive within the waiting time included in the reservation.
- Enjoy your ride.
Availability
The Uber Reserve Service, which allows riders to book their rides in advance and enjoy a hassle-free travel experience, is now available across 13 cities in India.
These cities include Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi-NCR, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow and Guwahati.
