Apple’s highly-anticipated Beats Studio Buds+ have been listed on Amazon, offering a sneak peek of the new features and changes before their official announcement. It is worth mentioning that the first iteration of the Beats Studio Buds was launched by Apple in 2021.
The upcoming Beats Studio Buds+ will be a transparent casing that offers a clear view of their internal components, akin to the ear buds design by Nothing. These earbuds are a sportier alternative to the AirPods Pro, with a more compact design that lacks the “stems” that protrude below the ears. They will be available in classic black and ivory color options as well.
Based on the details provided in the Amazon listing, the upcoming Studio Buds+ will provide 36 hours of listening time when used with their charging case, which is a significant improvement from the current model’s 24 hours. Despite the charging case retaining its previous design, it is expected to be lighter, with an approximate weight of 3.87 ounces (109 grams).
In addition to the longer battery life, the Studio Buds+ will also feature improved active noise cancellation and Transparency mode thanks to 3x larger microphones and air vent changes. The Amazon listing claims that the Studio Buds+ will offer up to 1.6× as much active noise cancellation and up to 2× improved Transparency mode compared to the original Studio Buds.
The Studio Buds+ are water-resistant with IPX4 rating and offer XS, S, M, and L ear tip options for a customizable fit. They are compatible with both Apple and Android devices, offering features like one-touch pairing, automatic switching between devices, Hey Siri support, and Find My support.
As for the pricing details, the Beats Studio Buds+ are currently listed on Amazon at a price of US$ 169.95 (Rs. 13,890 approx.), with a scheduled release date of May 18th. As of now, the listing for the Beats Studio Buds+ on Amazon appears to have been removed.
