Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Note 12R Pro, a budget smartphone in China, after teasers. It has a 6.67″ FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, is powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC with 12GB of RAM. It has an 16MP front camera inside the punch-hole, compared to 8MP in the Redmi Note 12 5G.
The phone has a 48MP rear camera along with the 2MP depth sensor, has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

The Redmi Note 12R Pro comes in Black, White and Gold colours and is priced at 1999 yuan (US$ 289 / Rs. 23,640 approx.) for the single 12GB + 256GB version and is expected to go on sale in China soon.
