Sale date?
As usual, the phone will be sold on Flipkart. To remind you, the Pixel 6a was introduced at the Google I/O in May, but went on sale in India and other markets only in July 2022.
However, this time the company is expected to start pre-order or even start selling the phone soon in India and other markets after the launch.
Expected price
The Google Pixel 6a was introduced at $449 (Rs. 36,720 approx.) and was launched in India at Rs. 43,999 (MRP). The Pixel 7a is rumoured to be priced at $499 (Rs. 40,800 approx.), which is $50 more than the Pixel 6a, so the Pixel 7a could cost more in India.
Rumoured specifications
Based on rumours, the Pixel 7a is expected to feature the same 6.1-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, but with 90Hz refresh. It is also said to get a new Tensor G2 processor with 8GB of RAM, and a new 64MP rear camera with Sony IMX787 sensor along with a 12MP Ultra-wide camera while retaining the same 8MP front camera.
The phone should retain IP67 ratings for water resistance. It is also said to get the same 4,410mAh battery, and also get support for wireless charging. We should know all the details when the phone goes official next week.
