Google just launched the Pixel 7a, the company’s latest Pixel smartphone, in India, as it had promised. The phone comes with a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, is powered by Google Tensor G2 SoC, Titan M2 security chip and has support for 5G SA/NSA.
The phone runs Android 13, and will receive security updates for at least 5 years, but it should get OS updates for 3 years. In addition to the Night Sight feature, it gets a new long exposure feature. Super Res Zoom is now 8X from 7X in the 6a.
The phone has a 3D thermoformed composite back compared to glass in the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, but comes with a tactile alloy frame and visor. The aluminum in the housing is 100% recycled content, said the company.
It comes with a new 64MP rear camera, OIS along with a 13MP ultra-wide secondary camera, and an 13-megapixel camera on the front, so it now supports 4K video recording with both front and rear cameras. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and packs a 4385mAh battery with support for fast charging and also supports wireless charging.

If their device needs a physical repair, the center will pack it and ship it for servicing, after which they will communicate with the user until their device is repaired and returned to them at the center.
