Along with the Xperia 1 V, Sony also introduced the Xperia 10 V, the company’s mid-range 5G smartphone. It has the same 6.1-inch 21:9 Wide Full HD+ OLED screen with 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz Touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, but the screen is approximately 1.5 times brighter than the previous model, says the company.
The phone is powered by the same Snapdragon 695 SoC, but this has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 13. It has a new 48MP (main) camera with Exmor RS sensor for mobile that is approximately 1.6 times larger than the previous model, while retaining the 8MP (telephoto) and 8MP (120° ultra-wide) and an 8MP front camera from the predecessor.
It weighs just 159 grams even though it packs a 5,000mAh battery, making it the world’s lightest 5G smartphone with the huge battery, according to the company. The phone has IP65 and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The Sony Xperia 10 V comes in Lavender, Sage Green, White and Black colours and is priced at €449 (US$ 493 / Rs. 40,415 approx.) / £399. It will roll out in Europe, UK and few other countries from the middle of June.
