Lava Agni 2 with curved AMOLED display, Dimensity 7050 launching on May 16


MediaTek introduced the Dimensity 7050, a rebranded Dimensity 1080 earlier this month, and confirmed that the Lava Agni 2 smartphone will be the first in India to use the chip. Today, the company has confirmed that the phone will launch on May 16th.

The teaser image shows quad rear matrix cameras with the 50MP f/1.55   main sensor with f/1.88 aperture. The also confirms a curved display for the phone.

Based on rumours, the phone will come with a FHD+ curved AMOLED screen, in-display fingerprint scanner, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Lava Agni 2 will be made in India, and is is rumoured to be priced less than Rs. 20,000. The phone will be sold on Amazon.in, in addition to Lava.com and offline stores.
