Two months ago, Sony officially announced their first ever Android powered tablets, and they are known as Sony S1 and Sony S2. Both are running on Honeycomb and their design is completely different from each other. We heard that it will be out later this summer and now Sony officially confirmed it that Sony S1 and S2 will hit UK in September. That’s what Engadget is saying because they received a letter from Sony marketing team confirming that the tablet will be available for pre-order in August and will be launched in September.
The tablet will hit Sony Direct, John Lewis store and some third party retailer. Sony S1 is a Playstation certified tablet which means it’s a full pack of gaming and multimedia. On the other side, Sony S2 is a clamshell dual-screen Android tablet, which is actually first ever dual-screen Android tablet.
So September is the month when these two new tablets will hit UK, anyone getting it?
