OpenAI launched the ChatGPT app for iOS in the US last week. It expanded to Albania, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Jamaica, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, South Korea, the U.K. a few days back. Now the app is available to download in India and more countries.

ChatGPT app clocks 500K downloads
In addition, the app has clocked 500K downloads on the App Store in just 6 days of launch. It is at number 1 spot for free productivity app worldwide and is number 2 in India.
The ChatGPT app allows users to synchronize their chat history across different devices. It also includes the integration of Whisper, an open-source speech recognition system, which enables voice input.
ChatGPT app gets more features
The company keeps adding new features to the iOS app for the past one week. ChatGPT for iPhone offers enhanced battery efficiency, haptic feedback is auto-disabled on low battery, gets Enhanced Voice Input, option to Clear Chat History, Disable History, and improvements to Right-to-Left Language Support.
Availability
The ChatGPT app for iOS is now available to download through the App store in India. The Android version of the ChatGPT app will be released soon.
