Samsung Galaxy S23 FE could launch in select markets in Q3 2023

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone in select markets in Q3, 2023, according to a new report from Sammobile. This coincides with earlier rumours. This also says that the company is planning to launch the phone widely in Q4 2023 and in Q1 2024.

We still don’t have the list of countries Samsung is planning to launch the S23 FE first. To remind you, the S21 FE was introduced in US and Europe in early January 2022, and it was launched in India a week later.

The phone is said to feature a 50MP rear camera coinciding with the S23, 6GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.

Galaxy S23 FE with Exynos 2200?

Recent report from Korea says that the phone will be powered by Exynos 2200 with AMD-powered Xclipse 920 GPU. It added that the Samsung has redesigned the Exynos 2200 to increase its presence in the AP market and improve yield. It is reported that the yield is better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and is almost on par with 8+ Gen 1.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE could replace Galaxy A7x series

Samsung did not launch the Galaxy A74 this year as the successor to the Galaxy A73, so the Galaxy S23 FE is said to replace the phone this year. The phone is also said to be priced in the similar range of the Galaxy A73, making it cheaper than the Galaxy S21 FE.

Earlier reports said that the Galaxy S23 FE will launch in August or September this year, so we will have to wait for a couple more months to find out the status of Samsung’s next mid-range S series phone.
