Madhav Sheth leaves realme after 5 years

Madhav Sheth, CEO, realme India, VP, realme, and President, realme International Business Group, has announced his resignation from the company. This follows his 5-year successful stint with the company. He used his Twitter handle to announce his resignation from realme.

He was noticeably absent from realme’s recent flagship launch event, where the company introduced the realme 11 Pro 5G series. This news was expected as rumours of him joining HONOR India as CEO for resurrection of its smartphone business surfaced last week.

Sheth joined realme back in 2018 with the launch of the brand’s realme 2. With him, realme emerged as India’s second-largest smartphone brand

“After a long conversation with Sky Li and also with his support, it’s time for me to contribute my share to the country’s export business,” he said in his letter.

Madhav Sheth also announced that realme’s founder and CEO Sky Li will now oversee the India market.

Regarding this, realme spokesperson said:

We extend our warmest wishes to Sheth for a successful future ahead. While we bid farewell to him, we want to assure our customers, partners, and stakeholders that realme’s operations will continue seamlessly.

Our commitment to providing high-quality products, exceptional user experiences, and innovative technologies remains unwavering. We will continue to drive the brand forward, delivering outstanding products and services to our customers worldwide.
