WhatsApp said to be working on native Multi-account support

WhatsApp is currently developing a new feature called Multi-account, as reported by WABetaInfo. This feature, which is expected to be included in a future update of the app, was first discovered in the WhatsApp Business beta for Android 2.23.13.5 update available on the Google Play Store.

The Multi-account feature will allow users to conveniently switch between different accounts within the same app. When setting up an additional account for the first time, it will be saved on the device until the user decides to log out, making it easy to switch back and forth whenever desired.

This feature is especially useful for individuals who want to separate their personal conversations, work-related discussions, and other social interactions. It ensures privacy and allows for efficient management of notifications, eliminating the need for using parallel apps.

Moreover, the Multi-account feature simplifies the management of multiple accounts across different devices. Instead of installing and configuring WhatsApp separately on each device, users can access and switch between their various accounts using a single app on their primary device.

WhatsApp recently introduced a new feature called Companion Mode for Android and iOS users. This feature lets you access the same account on multiple devices at the same time.

Availability

The Multi-account feature is currently under development and will be made available to beta testers in a future update of the app before rolling out to everyone.
