ASUS introduced the ROG Ally, the company’s first gaming handheld running Windows 11 in May. Now, ROG India has confirmed the launch of the gaming device in India soon.
To remind you, the ROG Ally has a 7-inch 1080p screen with 120Hz refresh rate, is powered by AMD Ryzen Z1 / Z1 Extreme APU, 16GB LDPPR5 6400MHz RAM, up to 512GB of NVMe M.2 2230 PCIe Gen 4 storage, and also has a UHS-II microSD card slot.
The ROG Ally comes in Ryzen Z1 Extreme 512GB model, priced at USD 699 (Rs. 57,300 approx.) that rolled out in several countries from June 13th. There is also a Ryzen Z1 512GB variant, priced at USD 599 (Rs. 49,100 approx.) that will be available in Q3 2023.
The company has not confirmed if we can expect both the Ryzen Z1 Extreme and the Ryzen Z1 versions, or when the ROG Ally will launch in India. Reports say that it could launch in India in July or August.
