Earlier this week, nubia confirmed that it will introduce the RedMagic 8S Pro, successor to the RedMagiC 8 Pro in China on July 5th. Today, the company has confirmed that it will be the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version clocked at up to 3.36GHz compared to the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The Adreno 740 GPU’s clock speed is also expected to be increased, from 680 MHz to 719 MHz increasing the GPU performance.
It will also be the first phone to come with 24GB of RAM, said the company. This doesn’t include the virtual RAM. Recent rumours revealed that OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be the first phone to use 24GB of RAM, and realme will also launch a mobile phone with 24GB of RAM, it added.
It is also expected to come with up to 1TB UFS 4.0 of storage. We had already seen 16GB + 1TB model in the RedMagic 8 Pro.
The phone is expected to retain the 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro camera and a 16MP under-display front-facing camera.
