Ahead of their launch, detailed specifications and renders of Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 have surfaced. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 features a distinctive design, with a large cover screen resembling the Moto Razr+ and a horizontal arrangement for the front dual-camera module. The device has a central punch-hole cutout on the main screen and flat edges.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 maintains a similar appearance to its predecessor, the Fold 4, with a vertical triple-camera setup at the back and a centrally-located punch-hole camera cutout on the front. It boasts minimal bezels and has the volume rockers and power button on the right edge.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is rumored to come with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED main display offering a variable refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz and a resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels.
The device also features a 3.4-inch secondary screen with a 748 x 720-pixel resolution for easy access to notifications and other features. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and equipped with 8GB of RAM, it provides storage options of 265GB and 512GB.
The camera setup on the Z Flip 5 comprises a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 10MP front-facing camera on the inner display. The device is backed by a 3,700mAh battery, runs Android 13, and supports USB-C 3.2, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, and dual-SIM functionality with NanoSIM and eSIM. It comes in Lavender, Mint, Cream, and Graphite color options, measuring 7.19 cm in length, 8.51 cm in height, and 1.51 cm in thickness.
The tipster Revegnus (@Tech_Rave) also shared a picture of the Galaxy Z Flip5, which displays the bigger external display, dual-camera setup, and power and volume buttons.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is rumored to have a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a 2176 x 1812-pixel resolution and a variable refresh rate that ranges from 1Hz to 120Hz. The device also offers a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED external display with a resolution of, 2316 x 904 pixels and up to 120Hz refresh rate.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and paired with 12GB of RAM, it provides storage options of 256GB and 512GB. The camera setup on the Z Fold 5 consists of a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto shooter.
It includes a 4MP under-display camera for selfies and a 10MP front-facing camera on the outer cover. The device has a 4400mAh battery and comes pre-installed with One UI 5.1.1 powered by Android 13.
The device offers connectivity options such as NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB-C 3.2 port. It supports dual-SIM functionality with a nanoSIM and an eSIM. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 has dimensions of 6.71 cm x 15.49 cm x 1.34 cm and weighs 253 grams and is available in Phantom Black, Cream, and Icy Blue colors.

The Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for the end of July in Seoul, South Korea, is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Galaxy Watch 6, Watch 6 Classic, Galaxy Tab S9 series, and Galaxy Buds 3.
