Sony MDR-MV1 headphones and C-80 Uni-directional microphone launched in India


Sony India has launched the MDR-MV1 Reference Monitor Headphones, aimed at professional sound engineers and musicians. In addition, Sony has introduced the C-80, a Uni-directional condenser microphone perfect for home studios, which is suitable for recording vocals, instruments, vlogging, webcasting and podcasting.

The headphones are designed specifically for sound engineers and music creators. These headphones offer precise sound object positioning in a 360-degree space, along with clear, hi-resolution audio and a wide frequency range.

They are perfect for capturing localization and detailed sound changes, making them suitable for professional mixing and mastering tasks. The MDR-MV1 headphones feature a lightweight and comfortable design, with breathable earpads for prolonged use. They also come with a high-quality replaceable cable and stereo mini-jack adapter.

The Microphones are designed for home studios. This Uni-directional condenser microphone is perfect for a range of recording applications, such as voice, instrumental, vlogging, webcasting and podcasting. The C-80 inherits key features from Sony’s renowned C-800G and C-100 microphones.

It incorporates a noise elimination construction, ensuring low noise and clear sound reproduction. The dual diaphragm configuration helps maintain vocal stability during recording, while capturing rich mid-range tones. The microphone also provides realistic instrument reproduction and effectively suppresses boomy low frequencies and noise when recording in close proximity.

The Sony MDR-MV1 headphones are available for Rs. 39,990, while the C-80 microphone is priced at Rs. 49,990.

Both products will be available from July 3rd, 2023 at Sony retail stores, ShopatSC portal, major electronics stores and other e-commerce websites in India.
