Samsung fans eagerly await the launch of the Galaxy S23 FE later this year. However, there is an exciting twist for Samsung enthusiasts in India. Samsung India is planning to relaunch the S21 FE, this time with the Snapdragon variant that was announced last year.
According to reports from various Twitter sources, the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE will come equipped with the Snapdragon 888 chipset compared to Exynos 2100 model which was launched last year.
The Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to have a base storage capacity of 256GB and will introduce a new navy-blue color option specifically for the Indian market. The anticipated price of the device is around Rs. 40,000.
To recall, the Galaxy S21 FE has a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Flat Display with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. The device has a 4500mAh battery, a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor, and an 8 MP telephoto lens with OIS, offering 3X optical zoom, and a 32MP selfie camera.
Samsung has effectively utilized its FE edition smartphones to boost both e-commerce and offline sales. This strategy has proven successful, as even the two-year-old Samsung S20 FE 5G continues to drive sales on platforms like Amazon, particularly with discounted prices.
It appears that the company is looking to strengthen its FE edition sales by adding this new Snapdragon variant to its line-up. We can expect an official announcement regarding the Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon variant in a couple of weeks.
