Samsung India teases Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon 888 variant


Samsung India has begun hinting at the imminent launch of a Galaxy smartphone equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 888 chipset. According to our previous report, the company is expected to relaunch the Galaxy S21 FE model, this time featuring the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset.

The teaser image released by Samsung suggests the tagline “Faster Just Got Faster,” but the specific smartphone model has not yet been revealed. However, the front design resembles to the Galaxy S21 FE. It appears that Samsung aims to boost sales of its FE edition by introducing this new Snapdragon variant to its lineup.

The Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to have a base storage capacity of 256GB and will introduce a new navy-blue color option specifically for the Indian market. The expected price of the device is around Rs. 50,000.

To recall, the Galaxy S21 FE has a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Flat Display with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. The device has a 4500mAh battery, a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor, and an 8 MP telephoto lens with OIS, offering 3X optical zoom, and a 32MP selfie camera.
