Carl Pei shares Nothing Phone (2) camera samples

Nothing Phone (2) is set to launch on July 11, and the company is making every effort to generate buzz by revealing key highlights of the device. Continuing this trend, Carl Pei, the founder of Nothing, has shared some camera samples that were taken with the Phone (2).

Carl shared four pictures, each taken in different scenarios. The first photo shows a mountaineer climbing a mountain and demonstrates the rich details captured by the phone. The second shot features a snowy mountain against a blue sky, highlighting the phone’s HDR capabilities.

He also shared a cityscape photo taken at night, which retains a decent amount of detail despite challenging lighting conditions. The fourth photo was taken in indoor lighting and exhibits good detail and shadow composition.

Carl emphasizes that these shots are unfiltered and said that these were taken on the Phone (2) running beta software. He further encourages Phone (2) testers to share their own unfiltered pictures. Here are a few more shots that have been shared by Phone (2) tester, Sukrut Patwardhan, via Twitter.

The Nothing Phone (2) will come equipped with a dual rear camera and will feature lighting elements similar to its predecessor. The resolutions of the cameras are currently unknown.
