realme launched the narzo 60 Pro as the successor to last year’s narzo 50 Pro. This share similar specifications as the realme 11 Pro which was launched last month, but this comes in different colours and also comes in a version with whopping 1TB of storage that is a first in this segment in India. We got hold of the phone, and here is our unboxing.

The realme narzo 60 Pro has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED punch-hole screen with a pixel resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels, 61° curved glass screen with gentle rounded corners. The sunlight legibility is good as well, thanks to 950 nits peak brightness. It has 100% DCI-P3, so the colors are vibrant. The phone has 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, so it is pretty smooth to use. The phone has a 2160Hz high-frequency dimming technology.
It has the punch-hole that houses a 16-megapixel camera, same as narzo 50 Pro. The earpiece is present on the top, and acts as a secondary speaker. The phone has ultra-narrow border, so it has high screen-to-body ratio of about 93.65%. It also has HDR support, which works for supported YouTube videos, but it doesn’t work in Netflix.
The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner which is quick to unlock the phone. Thanks to COP Ultra packaging technology, so it has 2.33mm ultra-narrow chin.
Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 with 5G SA/NA support, it has up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM with up to 12GB of additional RAM expansion. There is up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage, an upgrade from 128GB UFS 2.2 storage in the narzo 50 Pro.
Coming to the button placements and ports, the power button is present on the right side along with the volume rockers. The dual SIM slot, primary microphone, USB Type-C port and the loudspeaker grill are present on the bottom. The secondary microphone is on the top. The phone doesn’t have an expandable storage. Audio from the stereo speakers is good.
It features a 100-megapixel main camera with Omnivision sensor. It also has handheld starry mode. There is a secondary 2MP portrait camera, but lacks a 8MP ultra-wide sensor.
It has 4K video 30fps recording and portrait video support up to 720p. There is OIS support for the rear camera and EIS for the front. Check out some camera samples.
Coming to the design, the Cosmic Black has a plastic finish and is reminiscent of the vast expanse of space, and the Mars Orange colour variant has a vegan leather finish and is inspired by the vast orange Martian desert.
It has a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging that can charge up to 50% in 18 minutes. This is a major upgrade from 33W charging in the narzo 50 Pro.
The realme narzo 60 Pro 5G starts at Rs. 23,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version and goes up to Rs. 29,999 for the 12GB + 1TB model. It will be available from realme.com and Amazon.in from July 15th and is also available to pre-order with several offers.
