The realme narzo 60 has a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED centre punch-hole screen with a pixel resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. The sunlight legibility is good as well, thanks to 1000 nits peak brightness. The phone has 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It doesn’t have HDR support, but has Widevine L1 certification, so you can play HD content in streaming apps. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
It has the punch-hole on the top left that houses a 16-megapixel camera, an upgrade from 8MP in the narzo 50. The earpiece is present on the top, but it doesn’t act as a stereo speaker.
The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner which is quick to unlock the phone. Unlike the narzo 60 Pro, which has an ultra-narrow bottom bezel, the narzo 60 has a slightly bigger bezel.
Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC with 5G SA/NA support, it has8GB of LPDDR4x RAM with up to 8GB of additional RAM expansion. There is up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Coming to the button placements and ports, the power button is present on the right side along with the volume rockers. The hybrid dual SIM slot is present on the left. The primary microphone, USB Type-C port and the loudspeaker grill are present on the bottom. The secondary microphone is on the top. Audio from the mono speaker is decent. Since the phone has a glossy side frame, it is prone to fingerprints easily.
It features a 64-megapixel main camera and secondary 2MP portrait camera. It has 1080p 30fps recording for both the rear and front cameras, and doesn’t have OIS.
Coming to the design, the Mars Orange colour is found after 15 rounds of color mixing and the second generation of the leather has been selected from a variety of materials over a period of five months to provide the best texture and feel, said the company. It also comes in Cosmic Black that has a plastic finish.
It has a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, same as the narzo 50.
The realme narzo 60 5G starts at Rs. 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version and will be available from realme.com and Amazon.in from July 15th. It is now available to pre-order with several offers.
