WhatsApp Beta gets Sticker Suggestions, Chat Filtering soon

WhatsApp is rolling out new updates for its beta version on both Android and iOS platforms, offering exciting features to enhance user experience. In the latest beta version 2.23.14.16, WhatsApp introduces a sticker suggestion feature. This new addition allows users to easily find the right sticker by associating stickers with emojis.

When typing an emoji in the chat bar, a sticker tray appears above the keyboard, displaying stickers related to the entered emoji. This feature saves time and simplifies sticker selection, benefiting users with a growing collection of installed stickers. Furthermore, third-party stickers can also be utilized with this feature by associating emojis with each sticker.

Moving to the next beta version, 2.23.14.17, WhatsApp is working on a chat filtering feature. The goal is to enable users to filter conversations directly from the chat list, improving accessibility. The concept is inspired by a previous suggestion to introduce a filter button for a better user experience.

The development of this feature includes three filters at the top of the chat list: unread messages, personal conversations, and business-related chats. However, there is currently no dedicated filter for group chats, which may be an area for improvement in future updates.

With sticker suggestions and chat filtering, users will have a more enjoyable and efficient messaging experience. We can expect the wider rollout of this feature for the normal WhatsApp users in the upcoming days.
