Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Redmi 12, the company’s next budget Redmi smartphone in India on August 1st. It was introduced for global markets last month.
The first teaser shows the company’s brand ambassador Disha Patani holding the phone, and it highlights the crystal glass design.
The company says that this flagship design is for everyone. It shows the phone’s triple rear cameras and the side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
To remind you, the phone packs a 6.79-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, 8MP front-facing camera inside the punch hole and is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 SoC.
The phone features a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone has a glass back and has IP53 ratings for dust and splash resistance. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
The Redmi 12 will be sold on Amazon and Flipkart, in addition to mi.com and offline stores, after the launch next month.
