Samsung has officially released the stable version of Galaxy Enhance-X, an image editing app initially introduced last year for the Galaxy S22 Series phones and later expanded to other flagship devices. The app is now available for download in India as well, from the Galaxy Store.
Bug Fixes and New Features
The stable version of Galaxy Enhance-X addresses numerous bugs from the beta release, offering improved functionality. The app now allows users to enhance old, low-resolution photos and fix distortions in wide-angle shots.
Supported Galaxy Models
Samsung has released a list of devices compatible with the Galaxy Enhance-X app, available for download on the Galaxy Store. The supported models include:
- Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra
- Galaxy S20 Series: S20, S20+ S20 Ultra and S20 FE
- Galaxy S21 Series: S21, S21+, S21 Ultra and S21 FE
- Galaxy S22 Series: S22, S22+, S22 Ultra

Upcoming Features
Samsung plans to enhance the app further by adding a document-scanning feature that improves text clarity and removes unnecessary elements. Additionally, they are working on enabling video support, although specifics have not been disclosed.
Photo Restoration: Galaxy Enhance-X incorporates GAN technology, a generative AI approach, to restore old, blurry, or damaged photos, making them appear as if they were recently taken.
This feature excels at enhancing facial details, breathing life into expressions irrespective of the person’s race, gender, or age in the photo.
Lens Distortion Correction: The app introduces Wide lens distortion correction to address issues that arise when capturing close-range wide-angle photos, preventing image distortion and stretching near the edges.
Galaxy Enhance-X App: Compatibility and Expansion
Galaxy Enhance-X app is now available for download in India as well, from the Galaxy Store and currently compatible with devices running Android 13-based One UI 5.1 software.
Furthermore, Samsung has announced its plans to extend app availability to other Galaxy devices, including Galaxy A, Galaxy F, Galaxy M, and Galaxy Tab series in the future.
