Samsung Galaxy M44 with the model number SM-M446K has surfaced in Geekbench listing revealing Snapdragon 888 SoC, 6GB of RAM and Android 13.
To remind you, the Galaxy M33 with Exynos 1280 SoC was launched in Korea as Galaxy Jump 2 as a Korea Telecom exclusive, since the SM-M446K model number in the M44 has K, it is said to head to KT soon as Galaxy Jump 3 in Korea.
Even the Galaxy M34 that was launched in India a few weeks back is powered by Exynos 1280 SoC.
The jump from Exynos 1280 to Snapdragon 888 is huge, since it was a flagship SoC used in Galaxy S21 series in some markets back in 2021.
This is the first time Samsung is using a Snapdragon 8 series SoC in a mid-range M series. Even though Samsung launched the Galaxy M33 globally, it is not clear if we can expect the M44 to launch in markets outside Korea.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 FE powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC in India after a year of the launch of the Exynos 2100 version in the country.
We should know more details about the Samsung Galaxy M44 smartphone in the coming weeks.
