Infinix today launched the GT 10 Pro, the company’s first phone in the new GT series targeted at gamers. It has a unique mecha design and LED light effects. Here we have the first impressions of the phone.

First 5000 people who pre-order the phone will get a Pro Gaming Kit that includes universal shoulder triggers, gaming finger sleeves and a Carbon box.
The phone has a 6.67-inch (1080 x 2400 pixels) FHD+ 10-bit AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz Touch Sampling Rate. The screen is bright since it has up to 900 nits peak brightness. It also has 1920 Hz PWM Dimming for low brightness anti-flicker.
There is a 32MP front camera inside the tiny notch. The earpiece is present on the top edge, which doubles as a secondary speaker. You can see the dual LED flash on the bezel.
The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner which is quick to unlock the phone. The phone runs Android 13 with XOS 13 on top, and the company has promised 1 Android OS update and 2 years of security updates for the phone. It also doesn’t have any bloatware, and some of the system apps can also be uninstalled easily.
Under the hood, the GT 10 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 8050 SoC, making it one of the few phones with the chip, and the first in the price range in India. It has support for 14 5G bands, has 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, compared to UFS 2.2 in most phones in the price range.
Coming to button placements, the power button is present on the right along with volume rockers. The dedicated Dual SIM slot with microSD slot is present on the left. The 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port and the loudspeaker grill are present on the bottom. The secondary microphone, and vent for speaker are present on the top.
The phone has triple rear cameras that include a 108MP main camera, 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras. It supports 4K video recording at 30fps, and the front camera supports 2K video recording. Check out some camera samples.
The phone has a cyber mecha design that looks like glass. It has LED light effects that display lighting in sync with the rhythm of the music played, as well as calls and notifications which are customizable. It also has IP53 ratings for dust and splash resistance.
The phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 45W PD 3.0 fast charging, and has bypass charging when gaming that can charge the battery directly without interfering with the motherboard. This will extend battery life and reduce heat, says the company.
The Infinix GT 10 Pro is priced at Rs. 19,999 and is already available to pre-order from Flipkart with launch offers.
