Defense Derby, a real-time strategy mobile game developed by RisingWings, an independent studio of KRAFTON, has officially launched, bringing a fresh take on the tower defense genre.
The game introduces exhilarating 4-player PvP battles, complex strategic challenges, intense psychological warfare, and dynamic synergy effects to revitalize the tower defense experience.
At the core of Defense Derby is the innovative “Betting Royale” genre, where players engage in a thrilling “scouting stage” to bid fiercely against competitors for securing units and assembling their ultimate teams. These units are strategically placed within their fortress as players face continuous monster attacks, striving to be the last one standing.
Defense Derby offers a variety of game modes to enhance the gaming experience. The core Derby Mode features PvP battles, while Blitz Mode provides PvE challenges. The Valley of Trials offers a unique test with restricted unit selection.
In Friendly Derby, players can challenge their friends. Themed Mode periodically shifts rules for a limited time. Upcoming updates include Ban Pick Mode, enabling players to block specific opponent units, and Quest Mode, where players must survive the onslaught and complete specific quests.
To celebrate the game’s launch, KRAFTON and RisingWings have prepared exciting in-game events, rewarding players with bonuses, Legendary Unit cards, Cubics, and more.

The game is now available in over 190 countries, players can now download the game from Google Play, Apple’s App Store, and Samsung’s Galaxy Store.
