iQOO Z8 with Dimensity 8200, 12GB RAM and iQOO Z8x with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 surface in benchmarks


iQOO is gearing up to introduce the Z8 series of phones in China, as the successor to the Z7 series, which were introduced back in March. Now, the Z8 and Z8x have surfaced in Geekbench listing with the model numbers V2314A and V2312A, respectively.

According to the benchmarks, the Z8 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC compared to Snapdragon 782G SoC in the Z7. The listing also reveals 12GB of RAM and Android 13.

Based on rumours, the phone will get a FHD+ 144Hz LCD screen, while retaining the 5000mAh battery and 120W fast charging from the Z7.

The iQOO Z8x will be powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, compared to Snapdragon 695 SoC in the Z7x. The listing also reveals 8GB of RAM and Android 13.

Based on rumours, the phone will get a FHD+ 120Hz LCD screen, while retaining the 6000mAh battery and 80W fast charging from the Z7x.

The iQOO Z8 series is expected to be introduced in China sometime in Q3, 2023, which is within September.
