vivo is planning to launch the vivo V29 series in India, with the possibility of the vivo V29e arriving by mid-August. The vivo V29e has been spotted on certification websites like Geekbench, BIS, and IMEI database, with a picture shared by Ishan Agarwal on 91mobiles.
According to MySmartPrice, the Vivo V29e will be the most premium smartphone among the ‘e’ variants under the Vivo V series. It will feature a unique glass finish design with a color-changing glass back and an ultraslim body. The phone will have a 3D curved display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole display design for the front camera.
The device will come with 8GB of RAM and two storage options – 128GB and 256GB. It is expected that Vivo will start teasing the device via social media channels in mid-August before its official launch at the end of August.
Geekbench database revealed the performance details of the vivo V29e, showing that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC codenamed Holi, which is likely Snapdragon 480 5G or 480+ 5G SoC.
The phone achieved 899 points in the single-core test and, 2045 points in the multicore test of Geekbench 6. It comes pre-installed with FunTouchOS 13, which is based on Android 13, and has been approved by the BIS and IMEI databases.
