OnePlus Ace 2 Pro: 6.74″ 1.5K BOE Q9+ OLED 120Hz display, 5000mAh battery, 150W fast charging confirmed


OnePlus already confirmed the launch of Ace 2 Pro smartphone in China on August 16th with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Now it has confirmed display and charging specifications of the phone.

The Ace 2 Pro will feature a 6.74-inch 1.5K (2772×1240 pixels) flexible OLED BOE Q9+ screen, with support for 120Hz screen refresh rate, 450 PPI pixel density, 1600 nit peak brightness, 1.07 billion display colors, HDR10+, and has 2.17mm Ultra narrow bottom bezel.

Compared to Q9, the Q9+ screen from BOE offers improved color, low gray scale brightness is more uniform, and the greyscale transition is more natural and uniform at night and in dark conditions. 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and works even with wet fingers by default.

The screen has 3 major hardware-level low blue light eye protection certifications, including TUV Rheinland global eye protection certification for a more comfortable look and feel, and better eye protection in the dark.

The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 150W SuperVOOC fast charging that can charge the phone up to 100% in just 17 minutes. There is SUPERVOOC S power management chip. The battery is durable for 4 years or 1600 charging cycles, similar to its other top-end phones.

It also comes with a 150W Type-C GaN charger in the box that also has 45W PD support. The charger and the phone supports UFCS fusion fast charging protocol, so it is widely compatible with third-party UFCS charging adapters.
