Samsung already announced that the company’s latest fifth generation of foldable smartphones – Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 secured a record 100,000 pre-bookings in India in the first-28 hours, which is 1.7 times higher compared to their fourth generation counterparts – the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4.
Ahead of the official sale on August 18, 2023, Samsung has announced that it has commenced early deliveries of the latest foldables starting today, August 11 for those who had pre-booked the devices.
Price and Availability
Samsung started pre-bookings for the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 in India from July 27, 2023.
- The starting price for the 8/256 GB version of the Galaxy Z Flip5 is Rs. 99,999, while the 12/256 GB version of the Galaxy Z Fold5 starts at Rs. 154,999.
- Pre-booking the Galaxy Z Flip5 will provide benefits worth Rs. 20,000, and pre-booking the Galaxy Z Fold5 will provide benefits worth Rs. 23,000.
Pre-booking for the new devices is available across various leading online and offline retail outlets. Additionally, consumers can conveniently pre-book through Samsung Live.
