Lava creates Guinness World Record for Largest Mobile Phone Mosaic

Lava Mobiles has announced that it has set a new Guinness World Record for achieving the Largest Animated Mobile Phone Mosaic in the shape of the Indian Flag. The record was attained using 1206 smartphones at the DLF Mall, Noida.

This remarkable feat was accomplished using Lava Blaze 2 smartphones, with an official adjudicator from Guinness World Records on-site to confirm the authenticity of the achievement.

The President & Business Head of Lava International, Sunil Raina, expressed his pride in India breaking this record, particularly as it coincides with the country’s 77th Independence Day.

He emphasized the significance of the achievement, highlighting the success of Agni 2 as a testament to the potential of Indian tech products.

In addition to this record-breaking achievement, Lava Mobiles has recently unveiled a range of innovative smartphones, such as the Yuva 2, Agni 2, Blaze 5G, and Yuva 2 Pro. These offerings played a significant role in the remarkable 53% Year-over-Year (YoY) growth observed during Q2, 2023, as reported by Counterpoint Research.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Sunil Raina, President & Business Head, Lava International, said,

We are very proud to see India break the record of building the largest animated mobile phone mosaic in the shape of the Indian Flag. This is a tribute to the nation on its 77th Independence Day and marks a celebration of the success of Agni 2 – which quashed the notion that Indian tech products cannot succeed. We’re proud to have set this record.
