Xiaomi has just launched the Xiaomi Mi Band 8 Pro, along with the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 foldable phone during an event held in China today. The Mi Band 8 Pro boasts a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with improved features. It has a smoother 60Hz refresh rate, displaying 16.7 million colors and a high 336PPI resolution.
The screen is quite bright, reaching up to 600NITs, yet the band itself is light at 22.5g and slim, measuring only 9.99mm thick. The design includes skin-friendly and antibacterial TPU material, along with leather straps.
The new Mi Band offers an enhanced user interface. Apart from improved widget functions, it provides more comprehensive information presentation, covering weather, schedules, calendars, and other new features. This device supports over 150 sports modes and offers 100+ watch faces.
Additionally, it has advanced GNSS five-star positioning, upgraded dual-channel monitoring, and precise positioning capability. Its battery can last up to 14 days, but in AOD mode, it lasts around 6 days. Beyond this, the Mi Band 8 Pro excels in health management.
It tracks various aspects such as heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress, breathing training, scientific sleep monitoring, and women’s health. The band also supports multi-functional NFC for payments and comes with the Xiaomi voice assistant. Furthermore, the fitness tracker is water-resistant up to 5ATM as well.
