After rumours and benchmark listings, iQOO has confirmed the launch of Z8 series – Z8 and Z8x in China on August 31st. The teaser image shows the Z8 with dual rear cameras, OIS, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, and an infrared sensor.

The iQOO Z8x’s image has not been revealed yet, but online listings have confirmed a 6000mAh battery for the phone. Based on benchmark leaks, the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, compared to Snapdragon 695 SoC in the Z7x. The listing also revealed 8GB of RAM and Android 13.
Based on rumours, the phone will get a FHD+ 120Hz LCD screen, and the recent 3C certification revealed support for 44W fast charging for the phone.
