At the Gamescom 2023 event, Samsung unveiled the latest additions to its Odyssey monitor lineup: the 57″ Odyssey Neo G9 and the 55″ 2023 Odyssey Ark.
Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57″ Gaming Monitor
The Odyssey Neo G9 57” (G95NC) is a new gaming monitor that is the first to feature a Dual Ultra-High-Definition (DUHD) screen. It has won the Best of Innovation Award at CES 2023. The 57″ screen has a 1000R curvature, similar to two 32” UHD monitors side by side.
The screen uses Quantum Matrix Technology and Quantum Mini LED lighting for superior contrast, accurate colors, and reduced blooming in dark areas. It combines these technologies with VESA Display HDR 1000 to deliver vivid HDR content with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.
The monitor offers a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms GTG response time for smooth gameplay. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology further enhances stability and picture quality.
For connectivity, it offers VESA-certified DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and a USB hub. This allows for DUHD resolution at refresh rates up to 240Hz with less cable clutter.
The monitor also serves as a multitasking solution with its wide screen and advanced features. It can replace multiple monitors and offers Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes for efficient multitasking.
The monitor’s Auto Source Switch+ simplifies connecting new devices, while its ergonomic design, Core Lighting+, and CoreSync enhance the user experience.
Samsung Odyssey Ark 55” (2023) Gaming Monitor
Samsung has upgraded the Odyssey Ark 55” gaming monitor, the world’s first 55-inch 1000R curved gaming screen. Building on the success of its predecessor, the new Odyssey Ark (G97NC).
The monitor offers a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms GTG response time, providing gamers with a competitive edge and smooth gameplay. The Cockpit Mode introduces a vertical orientation, offering fresh perspectives for exploration.
The 2023 Odyssey Ark introduces the Samsung Multi View feature, allowing users to view up to 4 inputs simultaneously. It improves split-screen capabilities, providing convenience and command in one screen, even with external devices. The new DP input also supports 4K UHD streams for high-quality entertainment.
The Odyssey Ark now serves as a centralized hub for various computer needs. The Keyboard, Video, Mouse (KVM) switch feature enables seamless multitasking across multiple devices using a single mouse and keyboard setup.

Pricing and availability
The 57″ Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 will hit the market in October, carrying a price tag of USD 2,499.99 (Rs. 2,06,095 approx.). It will be up for grabs on samsung.com and certain retailers in the U.S. The 2023 Odyssey Ark is also slated for an October release.
India pricing and availability
In India, the Odyssey Neo G9 monitor will be available at Samsung’s official online store Samsung Shop, Amazon, and all leading retail stores priced at Rs. 2,25,000.
It will be available at a no cost EMI with an instant cart discount of Rs. 10000 when purchasing from Samsung E-store between August 24th and 31st and Rs. 3500 on credit and debit cards of leading Banks.
