LG Electronics (LG) has introduced its new Lifestyle Screen, the LG StanbyME Go (model 27LX5), for a global release, starting this month.
This screen comes with a 27-inch touch display and a 20W four-channel speaker system that supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. These features are combined within an elegant and strong carrying case. The StanbyME Go has also been rigorously tested to meet the demanding MIL-STD-810G standard used by the U.S. military, showcasing its durability.
Users can adjust the screen’s angle for the best view, rotate it from landscape to portrait orientation, change its height by up to 18 centimeters, or place it in Table mode.
In Table mode, the screen lies flat within the case, allowing users to enjoy digital board games and a virtual record player. LG’s Lifestyle Screen turns on automatically when the case is opened and turns off when closed.
Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the StanbyME Go’s carrying case and built-in battery offer portability, screen protection, and up to 3 hours of usage without needing an external power source. The case also provides safe storage for the remote control and power cable.
Additionally, the screen supports voice recognition for hands-free app launching, sound adjustments, and content searches. It operates on LG’s webOS smart TV platform.

Pricing and availability
The LG StanbyME Go is now open for pre-orders in the U.S. at a price of USD 999.99 (approximately Rs. 82,630) at LG.com and will go on sale later this month.
It will roll out in European markets such as Italy, France, the UK, Spain, and Germany starting next month.
At IFA 2023 in Berlin, LG will present its latest lifestyle TVs, including the StanbyME series and LG OLED Objet Collection Posé, from September 1-5.
