Update: realme has confirmed the launch of realme C51 in India on September 4th. It has also teased 33W SuperVOOC charging that can charge the phone’s 5000mAh battery up to 50% in 28 minutes and a 50MP rear camera.
Earlier: realme has started teasing the launch of realme C51, the company’s next budget phone in the C series, in India. The teaser says “Champion is coming” and the company says that the phone will be more engaging than ever before. It shows the notch and the mini capsule that we had seen in the realme C55 and the C53 smartphones.
The realme C51 was introduced in Taiwan last month, and is also available in Indonesia, Cambodia and more countries.
To remind you, the phone has a 6.7-inch HD+ 90Hz LCD screen with 90.3% screen-to-body ratio, has a 5MP camera inside the notch, is powered by Unisoc T612 SoC with 4GB of RAM, comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and has a 50MP rear camera along with a depth sensor. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The realme C51 comes in Mint Green and Carbon Black colours, and is expected to be priced under Rs. 10,000 since the realme C53 which was launched in India last month starts at Rs. 9999.
The realme C51 will be sold on realme.com, Flipkart and offline stores after the launch. The launch is expected sometime in early September, and we should know the exact date soon.
