Starting with the display, the iQOO Z7 Pro packs a 6.78-inch FHD+ 3D curved AMOLED 20:9 120Hz display. Since the display has up to 1300 nits brightness, it is good to view outdoors.
Powered by Dimensity 7200 4nm SoC with built-in 5G SA/NSA support, it has support for several 5G bands. The phone has 3000mm² vapour chamber cooling. It has X-axis linear vibration motor and 4D vibration, making it suitable for gaming.
It runs Android 13 with FuntouchOS 13, and the company has promised 2 years of Android OS updates and 3 years of security updates for the phone. The phone has 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 8GB of virtual RAM. It also has up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
The phone has a punch-hole that houses a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.45 aperture. Sadly, the earpiece doesn’t work as a secondary speaker. There is a small 2.37mm chin below the screen. The side bezels are just 1.52mm. It has an in-display optical fingerprint scanner.
Coming to button placements, the phone has a power button and volume rockers on the right. The bottom part is crammed with a dual SIM slot, primary microphone, USB Type-C port and a speaker grill. The secondary microphone is present on the top. It doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone is just 7.36mm thick.
The phone packs dual rear cameras that include a 64MP main camera with f/1.79 aperture, OIS, along with 2MP depth camera, so the 8MP ultra-wide camera from the predecessor has been removed to cut the cost. It has an aura light which is bright. There is up to 4K 30 fps video recording for the rear camera, and the front camera supports up to 1080p 30fps recording. Check out some camera samples.
The phone has an AG glass back with a matte finish, so it doesn’t attract fingerprints. It packs a 4600mAh battery with 66W flash charging.
Priced starting at Rs. 23,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version, it will go on sale on Amazon.in and iQOO.com starting from September 5th. With the Flat Rs. 200 off with HDFC / SBI cards, the effective price of the phone is Rs. 21,999.
