iQOO has announced Z8 and Z8x, the company’s latest smartphones in the Z series in China, as it had promised. The phones feature a 6.64-inch FHD+ LCD screen with 120Hz variable refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 91.06% screen-to-body-ratio.
The Z8 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC replacing the Snapdragon 782G SoC in the predecessor. It has up to 12GB of RAM and has 3K large VC cooling, 64MP rear camera with OIS along with a 2MP depth sensor. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
The iQOO Z8x has a 8MP front camera, is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC replacing the Snapdragon 695, now has up to 12GB of RAM, has a 50MP camera along with a 2MP portrait camera, has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 6000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

The iQOO Z8 comes in Porcelain white, Blue and Black colours and is priced at 1699 yuan (USD 234 / Rs. 19,350 approx.), 1799 yuan (USD 247 / Rs. 20,490 approx.) and 1999 yuan (US$ 290 / Rs. 24,000 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB models, respectively.
The iQOO Z7x comes in Porcelain white, Blue and Black colours and is priced at 1299 yuan (USD 275 / Rs. 22,770 approx.), 1399 yuan (USD 192 / Rs. 16,155 approx.) and 1499 yuan (US$ 206 / Rs. 17,075 approx.), for the 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB models, respectively.
The phones are available to order and will go on sale in China from September 7th.
