OnePlus to launch OxygenOS 14 with Trinity Engine on September 25


OnePlus just confirmed that it will launch OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 globally on September 25, 2023. The company said that it will bring a range of exciting features designed to deliver enhanced user experiences.

It started Android 14 beta for OnePlus 11 back in May. The company said that OxygenOS 14’s tag line is “be instinctive and free to control” evolving from its “fast and smooth experience”.

OnePlus has also announced that that OxygenOS 14 will bring ‘Trinity Engine’ that will unleash the full potential of OnePlus handsets by achieving greater synergy between hardware and software to address industry-wide challenges in pursing higher power consumption efficiency, better multitasking capability, and more enduring fast and smooth experience.

Under the hood of the engine are six innovative technologies, including CPU Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, ROM Vitalization, HyperBoost, HyperTouch, and HyperRendering.

When combined, these technologies guarantee a versatile fast and smooth experience in scenarios such as multi-tasking, intensive mobile gaming, and long-term usage, said the company.
