Samsung India has unveiled the eighth edition of its pan-India campus program, Samsung E.D.G.E, aimed at engaging young talents from India’s premier institutions. This initiative provides students with a unique opportunity to work on real-world problem statements, learn from Samsung’s top leaders, and craft innovative solutions.
The program will involve students from 35 campuses, including prestigious B-Schools, engineering colleges, and design schools. It will be conducted in three rounds, starting with ideation, where teams will create executive case summaries based on extensive research and analysis.
Following this, 45 shortlisted teams will progress to the regional round, delving deeper into the case study and presenting comprehensive solutions. The top 10 teams emerging from the regional round will receive mentorship from Samsung leaders to refine their solutions.
These final 10 teams will then compete in a National Round, with the top three teams earning cash prizes, a flagship Galaxy smartphone, and the potential opportunity to collaborate with Samsung. Each team can consist of up to three students from various specializations, with a focus on demonstrating cutting-edge innovation and leadership skills.
The program, which began in December 2016, serves as a platform for India’s brightest talents to exchange insights and gain a head start in their careers.
Students can know more about the program and register on Samsung India edge program microsite.
