After teasers, HMD Global has confirmed the launch of Nokia G42 5G in India on September 11th, after it was introduced back in June. The phone was introduced with QuickFix repairability in partnership with iFixit, but there is no mention of it for India.
However, the company has mentioned that the is made with a back cover consisting of 65% recycled materials and is made in India. It also confirmed that the phone comes pre-installed with Android 13 and guarantees two years of operating system upgrades and 3 years of security updates.
The phone will come with 6GB of RAM in India, with 5GB of additional virtual RAM and 128GB storage.
