Update: TECNO has started teasing the Phantom V Flip 5G, showing off the design of the phone ahead of the global launch in Singapore on September 22nd.
The ‘Flip In Style’ teaser shows leather-like rear finish, metal frame, and a dual-tone finish in violet colour. The company says that it will be ‘Made in India’ similar to the Phantom V Fold. The company has launched a microsite on its India website, and an Amazon India microsite as well.
Earlier: TECNO has confirmed the launch of its fist flip phone at the Flip In Style TECNO Flagship Product Launch 2023 in Singapore on September 22nd. This comes after the launch of the TECNO Phantom V Fold which was introduced at the MWC earlier this year, and was launched in India later at a competitive price.
The renders that surfaced recently showed a circular secondary screen, dual cameras and a circular flash. Based on rumours, the Phantom V Flip is expected to feature a 6.75″ to 6.9″ 144Hz FHD+ screen, MediaTek Dimensity 8050 5G chip, which is similar to the Dimensity 1300 chip, 64MP main rear camera, 32MP front camera, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 4000mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
In addition to PHANTOM V Flip 5G, TECNO will also launch its new flagship laptop, TECNO MEGABOOK T1 2023 14-inch at the event.
The TECNO Phantom V Flip launch event starts at 3PM Singapore Time (12:30 IST) on September 22nd. We should know more details in the coming days.
