Nikon Z f full-frame mirrorless camera launched in India

Nikon India has unveiled the latest addition to its mirrorless camera lineup, the Z f. This camera boasts a full-frame sensor and is powered by the same EXPEED 7 image-processing engine found in Nikon’s flagship mirrorless models, the Z 9 and Z 8. These advanced features cater to both video and still photography enthusiasts.

The Z f stands out with its enhanced video performance. It supports in-camera recording in H.265 10-bit format and offers support for N-Log and HLG recording. This allows users to capture delicate details accurately, making it suitable for a wide range of subjects, from weddings to wildlife.

Advanced Autofocus and Vibration Reduction

The Z f features superior autofocus (AF) performance with support for 3D-tracking in photo mode and subject-tracking in video mode. It can even detect small human faces, ensuring versatility in various shooting scenarios, including low-light conditions.

Vari-Angle Monitor and Touch Operation

The Z f boasts a Vari-angle monitor for composing shots from different angles. It’s also the first touch-operated camera in the Z series, making it convenient for users to adjust settings while framing their shots.

Pricing and availability

The Nikon Z f will be available for purchase both online and offline through authorized retailers, priced at Rs. 1,76,995 starting mid-October 2023.

For the first time in the world*, we have introduced focus point VR in Z f which helps to reduce the subject blur even in compositions where the subject is positioned at the periphery.

The Z f also comes with a dedicated monochrome selector and a Vari-Angle monitor. For Wedding photographers and cinematographers, the Z f offers AI driven features like Portrait Impression Balance and Skin Softening which are great for delivering your projects without spending a lot of time on post-production.
