Samsung Galaxy A05 and A05s detailed specs, renders surface

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s later this year, following the renders that surfaced earlier. The leaks by mspoweruser.com and Sammobile now reveal detailed specs, camera configuration, and more.

Samsung Galaxy A05

The Galaxy A05, with the model number SM-A055F, is set to run on an octa-core processor. It’s expected to offer a 4GB RAM option, as indicated by its Geekbench listing, although there might also be a 6GB RAM variant with storage options of 64GB or 128GB.

This phone is likely to feature a sizable 6.7-inch HD+ screen, larger than its predecessor, the A04. One of its standout features is the hefty 5000mAh battery, complemented by 25W fast charging support.

Other features include a waterdrop notch display, a textured rear panel, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the camera front, it will sport a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor on the back, and an 8MP selfie camera.

Connectivity-wise, it will offer Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Out of the box, it’s expected to run on Android 13. The phone will be available in three colors: black, silver, and light green.

Samsung Galaxy A05s

As for the Galaxy A05s, with the model number SM-A057F, it will boast a triple-camera setup headlined by a 50MP main camera. Notably, it will come with NFC, which is missing in the Galaxy A05.

Both phones will feature a single loudspeaker, microphone, LED flash, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. They will both debut with Android 13 and could receive two or three major Android OS updates.

Both phones will accommodate dual-SIM cards and a microSD card slot. Only the Galaxy A05s will have a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Powering these phones will be a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. They will both run on the MediaTek Helio G85 processor.

Samsung’s plan is to launch the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
