At its event, HUAWEI introduced the MatePad Pro 13.2″, the company’s latest tablet in the MatePad Pro series in China. This has a 2.8K 144Hz OLED screen and the company says that this the world’s thinnest and lightest tablet with an edge-to-edge screen at just 5.5mm thickness and weighing 580 grams.
The tablet is powered by Kirin 9000s SoC, the same chip that powers the latest Mate 60 series phones. The tablet also has stainless steel VC + 52000mm² high thermal conductivity graphite for heat dissipation. The tablet has 6 speakers, runs HarmonyOS 4, features 13MP + 8MP dual rear and 16MP + ToF front cameras.
It has a huge, 10100mAh battery with support for 88W fast charging that can charge up to 85% in 40 minutes and 100% in 65 minutes. There is also optional keyboard and stylus support.
