- Wide Category of Interest: Consumers express interest in various categories, including electronic gadgets, luxury beauty brands, home furnishings, and consumables.
Amazon.in Emerges as a Preferred Destination
- 68% Prefer Amazon.in: For 68% of consumers, Amazon.in is the go-to and convenient online shopping destination.
- Most Trusted and Loved Brand: Almost half of the respondents consider Amazon.in the most trusted and loved online brand for festive shopping.
- Extensive Product Range: A whopping 75% of consumers appreciate the wide selection of products and brands available on Amazon.in.
Amazon.in Dominates Across Categories
- Preferred for Large Appliances (51%): Amazon.in is the top choice for consumers shopping for large appliances.
- Mobiles/Smartphones (44%): Nearly half of consumers prefer Amazon.in for buying mobiles and smartphones.
- Consumer Electronics (43%): Amazon.in also leads in the consumer electronics category.
Fashion and Beauty
- Preferred for Fashion and Beauty (38% and 35%): Amazon.in is the preferred choice for consumers shopping for apparel, footwear, fashion accessories, and beauty products.
- Trendy Brands: Around 80% of consumers appreciate the access to trendy brands during online festive shopping events.
- Enhanced Shopping Experience: 77% of shoppers find features like virtual try-ons and sizing charts helpful in reducing errors while buying.
- Confidence in Authenticity: 76% of consumers trust online festive shopping events to deliver genuine and original beauty products.
Grocery Shopping Convenience
- Grocery Shopping on Amazon.in (41%): 41% of consumers prefer Amazon.in for their grocery needs during the festive season.
- Quality Assurance: 75% of shoppers believe that online shopping events provide the finest quality grocery and everyday essential products.
- Time-Saving: 76% appreciate the convenient delivery slots, saving them time for celebrations with family and friends.
Rise of Digital Payments
- 42% Choose UPI: 42% of respondents opt for UPI as their preferred digital payment method for online festive shopping.
- Reward-Driven UPI Usage: 57% use UPI for earning rewards and cashback, especially during the festive season.
