Google Pixel 8a with 6.1″ display, curved design surfaces in renders

Google launched the Pixel 8 series phones last week, now the renders of the Pixel 8a, a cheaper model has surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a familiar design with a flat screen, curved back and a large camera bar with dual rear cameras. Even the position of the LED flash looks similar to the Pixel 8.

The phone is said to measure 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9mm compared to 150.5×70.8×8.8mm in Pixel 8, making it slightly bigger even though this is said to come with a 6.1-inch screen, but it should be smaller than the Pixel 7a.

Based on earlier rumours and Geekbench listings of the phone codenamed “Akita”, the Pixel 8a will retain the Tensor G3 from the Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro, will come with 8GB of RAM and run Android 14. We will have to wait and see, if the 8a will get the same 7 years of update promise as the flagships.

Earlier leak revealed a Blue colour for the phone. We should know the camera specs, and details about the battery soon.
