OnePlus Open press renders, price surface ahead of launch

We head already seen CAD-based renders of the OnePlus Open, the company’s first foldable phone which is expected to launch later this month. Now the press renders and the pricing of the phone has surfaced.

OnePlus founder has already confirmed that the OnePlus foldable has 31 components less, making it lighter, and it will be 37% smaller than the Find N2. The OnePlus Open and the OPPO Find N3 will share a similar design, he added.

The phone is expected to feature a 48MP main and 48MP ultra-wide camera and a 64MP telephoto camera. The image shows H branding for Hasselblad, and f/1.7 aperture for the main camera. It is said to feature a 7.8-inch foldable OLED display from BOE, so there will practically no visible fold.

The phone is said to feature a 6.31-inch outer OLED display. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of storage.

The OnePlus Open expected to be introduced on October 19, 2023, and is said to cost USD 1,699 (Rs. 1,41,405 approx.), making it slightly cheaper than the Galaxy Z Fold5. We should know the India price when it goes official to find out if it’s cheaper than the Fold5 in India.
